It's Always Something!

Well, to say that this past week has been trying would be a bit of an understatement, but today was just nearly more than I could take. Last Tuesday our little runt of the litter poodle Ginger was lying on her bed shaking so I took her to the vet & she is still there now on Sunday very sick and not responding very well to all they are trying to do. As you can see sister Brittney is looking very sad. While I was at the pet hospital today visiting ginger with our two younger daughters, Daddy called to tell me that our oldest, Victoria broke her foot & will need to go to the Pediatric Orthopedist tomorrow. It all comes on the heels of me having the stomach bug last week and bronchitis this week and I just am trying to count my blessings for all that is good. I know that the foot is minor (I hope, they say there are 2 broken bones) and as for Ginger, I am trying to come to grips that she may not make it. Needless to say, I did not have time for photos or packing orders today with all that is going on, so my friends, please bear with me over the next few days, I will pull it all together & move on because I am counting all my blessings, and I have lots!

Oh Sanya, I am so sorry to read this. Speaking from experience, I know that it is just as hard to loose a pet as it is a family member. My prayers go to you and your family as you deal with this and to Victoria for a speedy recovery.

I was starting to worry since I hadn't heard from you all weekend but didn't wanna pester ya. Hope you're getting some better news today about Ginger and that things go well at the orthopedist. Always good to count your blessings but sometimes it's definitely harder than others that's for sure.

Oh Sanya, I hope Victoria's foot heals quickly. I broke my right leg in January and, being a 57 year old woman, it took several months spent in a cast for me. Fortunately, your Victoria is young and will heal much quicker.
I hope by now you have good news about Ginger. We have several pets and love them all very much. We lost our daughter's beloved border collie 2 years ago and we still think of her and miss her a lot. Hope you are feeling better, as well. Hang in there........and you are right, keep counting your blessings! Becky

Thank you Becky! I hope your leg has healed and that you are feeling better! Victoria is doing great, she is amazing the way she gets around with a cast up to her knee. She is just upset that it is getting cold and she cant wear any dresses because of the tights. I think I will have to try & figure something out! Ginger is doing better, but will be on medication for quite some time & may need her kidney removed. I am hoping that she will get better with meds only!
Thank you again!
