Shades of Delight

(Jacqueline's whimsical beaded pink Chandelier)
I am pretty sure that some people will think that odd things are delightful to me, and that is okay, becuase I have to admit that I love a good shade. Not the kind that you get from the branches of a large old oak tree, but the ones that go on pretty chandeliers, sconces, and lamps! I thought I would share some of ours with you, so enjoy!

Tori's antique glass lamp with fun shade!
One of my all time fav's, the large oval in Rachel Ahswell's Shabby Chic fabric
Another pretty Rachel Ashwell shade graces Jacquelines room & shabby chic lamp
Pretty pink beads hang from these silk chantung shades in the kitchen breakfast nook
More pretty beaded silk shades in the dining room

These ivory silk chantung shades feature rosettes as well as beads
I love the way these antique reproduction beaded blub covers look on my antique glass sconce!
A flirty French fluff for the powder room is perfect against the traditional toile in the powder room!
This precious sconce shade is made of white tulle with embroidered pink roses, too sweet!

I would love to hear about your favorite shades, so send me a note!
XO~

Hello Ashley,
I bought both of these toiles 4 years ago, so I am sorry to say that I do not remember their names. I bought them from www.decoratetoday.com and I know I typed in "blue toile" and "yellow toile" becuase I wanted to narrow it down since they have thousands.
I wish I could be more help, but I am so glad that you stopped by!

Hi Sanya,

OOHH I love the shades you have chosen. I am in the market for shades for my daughter's antique chandelier that I have just redone. I especially love the cream ones with beads. Where do you purchase yours?

Thanks so much
