Creating Romance with Touches of Old

When I saw these prints, I knew instantly that they would create a sense of romance in any home, and that those of us who love all things old and pretty, especially when they include roses, would fall in love as I did with these lovely framed prints. There is such a difference when you walk into the home of someone who decorates with treasures from the past than when you enter the home of someone who had "the decorator from Ethan Allen" help them with their home. Both are lovely I admit, and I do so admire many of the "new" pieces, but there is just something that pieces like this add to a home; warmth, a sense of history, and most definitely romance!

I am so grateful that I have a husband that enjoys my sense of style and appreciates treasures from the past. Our home is a haven for all things old, and from time to time, we joke and say that our home is "where 200 year old pieces of china come to die" since with three little ones things get broken now and again, but they are never thrown away. I have a VERY LARGE box full of broken china, just waiting to be used to create something splendid that can be passed on to our daughters, and maybe someday their daughters too!
